Livia is a citizen scientist, open-source contributor, and volunteer researcher working at the intersection of computational biology, AI, and digital health.
She is a member of HEALES (Healthy Life Extension Society), a volunteer at Universitätsmedizin Rostock (IBIMA), and an active participant in the longevity research community — including ARDD conferences and Berlin Longevity Week.
Beyond her design practice, Livia works with a scientific and engineering stack including Python, PyTorch, Polars, NeuralForecaster for time-series forecasting, and agentic AI frameworks. She has taught numerous AI agentic workshops in bioinformatics, positioning her not just as an artist who references science, but as a practitioner who actively builds and deploys ML pipelines.
Her work spans founding GlucoseDAO for open glucose prediction research, contributing to Longevity Genie open-source tools, and creating Materialized Enhancements — a platform turning synthetic biology into participatory generative art.
